ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Residents say they are fed up with brazen crimes committed by young men in downtown St. Louis, especially attacks in parking lots.

Two young men were caught on tape beating and robbing two men in a parking lot located near Delmar Boulevard and 14th Street near Washington Avenue.

One of the victims is seen on camera being punched to the ground around noon on June 23. Both victims have a few cuts to their faces, but authorities say they refused medical treatment.

According to police, both suspects were wearing dark colored clothing and are between the ages of 18 – 20-years-old.

Police say the suspects got away with cash. Authorities say they are trying to find the two suspects.

Ramon Campbell lives close to where the incident happened. Campbell says he wants these types of crimes to stop.

“I think it's sad. I work right over here at the man's underwear store and sometime last year my boss saw a guy get shot. I just think it's horrible,” said Campbell.

Pat Hamill works at St. Louis Auto Park. The parking garage's surveillance camera captured the incident on camera.

Hamill says robberies like this case are becoming the norm in the city.

“I think it's a case that the parking lots are going to have to get organized and hire people to supervise,” said Hamill.
