O'FALLON, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

A man is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the return of a trailer filled with lawn equipment that he says was stolen from him in O’Fallon, Illinois.

Matt Holdener, who runs a landscaping and lawn care business, says his white 16-foot enclosed trailer was parked outside Hometown Suites in O’Fallon when it was taken. Police believe the trailer, which had thousands of dollars in lawn care equipment in it, was taken on June 17.

“I feel like this couldn’t have been something random and possibly someone might have known that my stuff might’ve been here,” said Holdener.

Holdener said all of his professional mowers and lawn care tools are gone too.

Holdener said he has had to borrow equipment from other contractors to keep working because he has to work on more than 60 properties a week.

Police believe the thieves were driving a red or maroon extended cab pick-up truck.

If you have information on the suspects’ whereabouts or the whereabouts of the trailer, call police.
