ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police and emergency crews converged on a South City gas station after a fight broke out overnight.

A person fired a gunshot into the air at the Circle K in the 8200 block of South Broadway after several juvenile male and females were involved in a fight around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses of the disturbance told News 4 the incident began when three vehicles pulled up and the juveniles jumped out and began fighting. During the fight, a gunshot into the air by an unknown male between the ages of 16 and 18 years old, police said. 

According to officials, a 26-year-old man was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital after sustaining a laceration to his arm during the incident. No one was injured by the gunshot.

No arrests have been made.
