ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Police Department has released surveillance photos of a suspect who is wanted for several gas station robberies.

According to police, the suspect is wanted for five different armed robberies over the past three weeks. The suspect is believed to have robbed the Conoco at 6428 Chippewa on April 8, the Phillips 66 at 2724 Watson on April 14, 24 and 25 and the Shell at 8200 South Broadway on April 26.

The suspect, described as being in his early 20s, roughly 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-3, was seen entering a silver four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan or Hyundai.

Authorities believe he's robbed the Phillips 66 on Watson three times. An employee said he had several encounters with him.

"He was shaking and stuff. It was a horrible experience," says Phillips 66 employee Haroon Ikran. "As soon as I look up, he was right there at the door. I pick up my hands and and he's like 'Take the money out of the drawer or I shoot you!"

Ikran said he returned the next week to commit another robbery, before striking again at the same Phillips 66 on April 26.

"My mind was like 'what are you serious?' The same guy, I couldn't even think. He came back again and the same routine, brought a bag, gave him the money," says Ikran.

Police say it is unusual for a thief to come back for more after they rob a business, but this suspect does not fit into that pattern.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect should contact CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
