JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The St. Louis Blues say they would like to see some upgrades at Scottrade Center, but many lawmakers in Jefferson City say the funds should not come from state coffers.

State lawmakers will not be voting in favor of using state funds to pay for the upgrades to HD monitors, scoreboards and fan amenities if a bill being proposed passes.

A draft of the bill has language within stating it will not allow for state budget money to be spent on the upgrades

The total cost of the upgrades would cost $100 million.
