MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (KMOV.com) -
Three suspects were arrested by Madison County Sheriff's Deputies during a drug bust at a salvage yard in Cottage Hills, Ill. relating to allegedly selling methamphetamine Thursday.
Police say the business, 800 W. Mac Arthur Ave., in question (known by several different names: Tinnon Motors, J&L Salvage and 140 Auto Parts) was the focus of a two-week long investigation. The Madison County Sheriff's Office, along with the East Alton Police Department, executed a search warrant on Wednesday afternoon.
A search of the business resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, firearms and paraphernalia associated with the distribution of narcotics.
The three suspects were charged on Thursday.
Larry B. Tinnon, 57, was identified as the manager of the facility. He was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and two-counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. His bond is set at $300,000.
Lee Anne Edwards, 35, was living in a recreational vehicle at the location. He was charged with unlawful delivery or possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. His bond was set at $60,000.
Daniel W. Allsman, 39, was living in the same RV as Edwards. He was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He bond was set at $20,000.
All three defendants remain in custody at the Madison County Jail.
