The National Hockey League has released the full first round schedule for the Blues-Blackhawks series, which begins Wednesday at Scottrade Center.
Games 1 and 2 will take place in St. Louis on Wednesday and Friday, each being televised on NBC Sports. The Blues will then play two games in Chicago before coming back home for a Game 5, if necessary. After Game 4, if neither team has clinched the series, games will alternate between St. Louis and Chicago until one team reaches four wins.
“Wednesday is the day,” said head coach Ken Hitchcock. “We will be ready for it.”
“We are dying to get this going,” added forward Alexander Steen.
Game 1 will also feature a pregame rally outside Scottrade Center. There will be a similar rally for every home playoff game. The rallies will include live music and appearances by Blues alumni. Scottrade Center will open to the public 90 minutes prior to puck drop.
