(KMOV.com) – Two victims are dead after a house fire in Country Club Hills happened around midnight Saturday.

The home is located in the 7500 block of Calvin. Police say two adult males were killed. One of the victims, Tony Shields, was in a wheelchair at the time of the fire.

"It was just a sad situation because he was in a wheelchair and couldn't get around," said Maxine Marshall, a neighbor. "You know what? I didn't sleep at all last night because it was so devastating. And so close to home."

Marshall says the other man in the home was a relative who took care of Shields. He died as well. Fire investigators say at least four different fire departments helped fight the flames, including Northeast, Riverview, Ferguson, and Metro North Fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown. County Bomb and Arson are investigating the incident.
