ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A north St. Louis man has created a program that will teach teenagers about business and technology.

The program, called “Teens of Tomorrow,” aims to turn a rundown building in north St. Louis into a convenience store and computer lab. Once the transformation is complete, teens will be in charge of running the establishment.

“I truly feel that team work makes the dream work, so we want them to be able to show how we can come in here and work together. You know too many times, especially in this community, we don’t work together,” said Charles Shelton, executive director of the program.

Shelton has already secured the building and computers for the lab, but is hoping more adults will get involved with the effort.
