BERKELEY (KMOV.com) -

One person was killed and three people were wounded in three separate shootings in north St. Louis County Thursday night.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Fay and Everett after receiving a report of “shots fried” around 8:17 p.m.

While they were on their way, officers received a call from police in Ferguson to inform them the subjects believed to be involved in a shooting in Berkeley were at an Imo’s Pizza in their jurisdiction.

Multiple shell casings were found at the scene on Fay and Everett, police said.

According to police, an initial investigation showed the shots were fired after the subjects, who were familiar with one another, got into some type of altercation inside a vehicle. Following the gunfire, the vehicle left the area of Fay and Everett and drove to the Imo’s in Ferguson.

One person inside the vehicle, Quinton Pearson-Harts, 19, of Kinloch, was pronounced dead and a second person was taken to the hospital in series condition. A third person inside the vehicle was not injured, but is currently being interviewed by authorities, officials said.

The third shooting victim was found at a Holiday Inn Express hotel in Hazelwood, police said. The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the victim’s condition has not been released.

Around 8 p.m., a fourth shooting victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after sustaining a gunshot wound while driving on westbound Interstate 270 near New Florissant.

Officers believe the man was shot following an altercation with a person inside another vehicle near the junction of New Halls Ferry and Interstate 270.

All investigations are ongoing.
