4 arrested after leading police on bi-state chase Wednesday

COLUMBIA, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

The Columbia Police Department apprehended four suspects wanted in a Missouri robbery after a pursuit on Wednesday morning.

Brandon Van Doren, Shawn Lamb, Tosha Fox and Tesch Sensabaugh, all of St. Louis, were allegedly in a stolen vehicle from Jefferson County, Missouri after committing a robbery around 10 a.m. They fled from police on the Jefferson Barracks Bridge. A Columbia officer tried to stop the car near Palmer Road and Route 3. After a short pursuit, the four jumped from the car and fled into a wooded area next to the Columbia Lakes subdivision.

Police set up a perimeter and K-9 units were brought in to track the suspects. Illinois State Police flew over the area with a plane. 

Van Doren, 21, the driver, was found first near the wooded area behind 300 Southport Drive. He was charged with resisting a peace officer, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of hypodermic needles, possession of stolen vehicle, disobeyed traffic light, improper lane usage, fleeing and eluding a police officer and speeding.

Police found the other three after a driver saw them hiding near the woods behind the concrete embankment at Columbia Lakes Drive and Old State Route 3. They were arrested around 11:45 a.m. 

Lamb, 23, was charged with resisting a peace officer, unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and fugitive from justice. Fox, 23, was charged with resisting a peace officer and possession of a stolen vehicle. Sensabaugh, 22, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting a peace officer.
