Victims identified in fatal double shooting outside north St. Louis home

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two people who were fatally shot outside a home where there was a meth lab inside have been identified.

Shortly before 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, authorities were called to the 4100 block of Enright. One of the men was found inside the residence and the other was found outside. Police identified the victims as Mark Carroll, 41 of North St. Louis and Charles Newsome, 48, of Chesterfield.

According to officials, an investigation revealed there was an active meth lab inside the residence.

Police were also called to 4800 block of Anderson around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday to reports of a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the victim, Mark Scott, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene.
