ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The City of St. Louis is pulling out all the stops to become the new home of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) western headquarters.

The city and Metro East have offered land to the agency for free, but it looks like the City of St. Louis will take things a step further. Wednesday, city officials plan to announce two new developments coming to the north St. Louis area, where the NGA facility could be built.

Part of the promise the city made to the NGA was to bring healthy lifestyles and economic development to the north side.

The announcement for the two new projects is set for 3:30 p.m.

The NGA plans to announce the location of its new facility of April 1.
