ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A South County Walmart employee is accused of texting explicit photos of himself to customers.
Elvel Sivac is accused of sending explicit photos of his naked body to multiple women while he worked as a clerk in the vision department at the store located at 3270 Telegraph Road.
One of the women told police that moments after Sivac took her glasses to the back of the store on July 30, 2015 she received a photo from a strange number of a man’s naked body. Roughly six minutes later, another text arrived asking “Did you like that?” By using a search function, the victim as able to find out that the number belonged to Sivac, police said.
The 20-year-old allegedly told authorities he used the store’s records to get the victim’s contact information. Authorities conducted a search of Sivac’s phone with his consent and found five additional victims, according to the probable cause statement. The additional victims told police they received the same offensive and unsolicited messages, but were unable to find out who sent them.
Sivac was charged with six counts of second-degree sexual misconduct.
Walmart later released a statement:
“Our associates are expected to act professionally at all times when dealing with customers. Mr. Sivac did not do that and was terminated for serious misconduct and violating Walmart policy. Because this matter is now before the court, it would not be appropriate for us to comment further.”
