ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – First and second round games in the men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament will be held at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis this weekend.

The tournament is expected to bring big money to hotels, restaurants and stores in the area. More than 17,000 fans will pour into the region for the games, meaning millions of dollars will be brought into the local economy.

“It’s wonderful and we’ve been really fortunate over the years to be a frequent stop for the NCAA tournament,” said Marc Schreiber, vice president of the St. Louis Sports Commission.

Friday, four games will take place starting at 11:15 a.m., and on Sunday two games will take place starting at a to be determined time.
