ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two teenagers were among three people injured during two separate shootings in west St. Louis overnight.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man was tackled by the driver of a grey vehicle in the 5800 block of Maple. During the struggle, two other suspects appeared. The suspects took the victim’s two cell phones, watch and ring.

While running from the scene, the victim was shot in the calf by one of the suspects, police said. He was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

Roughly two hours later, two teenagers were shot after winning money playing dice in the 1400 block of Blackstone.

After the victims, ages 17 and 18, won money from the suspect, he became irate, pulled out a firearm and began firing shots into the air and towards them, police said. The 17-year-old was shot in the foot and the 18-year-old sustained a graze wound to his leg. Both teenagers were taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as being bald, 5-foot-10, 200 pounds with a muscular build and a goatee. The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and blue pants with paint on them at the time of the shooting.

No other details surrounding the incidents have been made available.
