JENNINGS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Dr. Art McCoy will begin transiting into the role of the Jennings School District Superintendent Monday.

Dr. McCoy used to be the superintendent in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, but was placed on administrative leave for an undisclosed reason in 2014. Shortly after the district placed him on leave, Dr. McCoy resigned.

Dr. McCoy will replace Tiffany Anderson as the superintendent in Jennings. Anderson turned the district, which now has a graduation rate above 90 percent, around.

During the final months of the 2015-2016 school year, Dr. McCoy will work closely with Anderson, who plans to move to Kansas to work for a district in Topeka.
