JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Some top presidential contenders are targeting Missouri in the final days before Tuesday's primary elections.

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz was to campaign across the state Saturday in suburban St. Louis, Kansas City, Cape Girardeau and Springfield. Republican Donald Trump also was to be in Kansas City. For Democrats, Hillary Clinton was to appear in St. Louis and Sen. Bernie Sanders in Springfield.

Missouri has 52 Republican and 71 Democratic delegates at stake, the fewest of the five states holding primaries Tuesday.

Republicans will award some delegates to the candidate who gets the most statewide votes and allot the rest to the winner in each of the state's eight congressional districts.

Democratic delegates will be divided proportionally based on the statewide vote and the vote in each congressional district.
