2 dead in North St. Louis crash; victims identified

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two people were killed after a pickup truck crashed into parked vehicles in north St. Louis Friday morning.

The St. Louis Fire Department was called to the scene of the crash at West Florissant and Goodfellow around 4:45 a.m.

Officials told News 4 they believe the red truck was speeding when the driver lost control as it went over the railroad tracks, hit several parked cars on the street and overturned. Two people inside the vehicle were ejected during the incident. 

Crews have closed Goodfellow between West Florissant and Gladys while they investigate the crash. It is unknown when the roadway will reopen. 

The victims were later identified as Marvin Moore, Jr, 21, and Tyrell Turner, 20.
