What Missouri, Illinois voters need to know for Primary Elections

With the Missouri and Illinois Primary Elections quickly approaching, voters are getting prepared to cast their ballots. News 4 has all the important information and dates voters need to know about before they head to the polls. 

Missouri

Date of the Primary Election: March 15

What are the polling hours: 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 

What to bring: One form of personal identification. 

Where do I go to vote?

To find your polling place, head to Missouri's voting website. 

Can I vote in this year's Primary Election? 

If you registered to vote for the Primary before Feb. 17,  then you are allowed to cast a ballot. If you did not make the deadline, you are unable to vote in the primary. However, there is still time to register for the General Municipal Election, State Primary, and General Election. You can register to vote for those elections here.

What if I am not in Missouri at the time of the Primary? 

Then you can vote with an absentee ballot. The last day to request an absentee ballot is March 11 and all absentee ballots must be returned by March 14. You can request an absentee ballot here.
