ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A suspect that led police on a pursuit through St. Louis City has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a robbery. 

The pursuit started around 4:15 p.m. Sunday and continued on Eastbound Interstate 70, east of Lambert, ending in an area near Tower Grove and Vandeventer.

Authorities say they confronted the suspect, who pushed an officer and fled in a red pickup truck, crashing into another vehicle a short time later. The suspect fled on foot, but was arrested and is currently in custody.

St. Louis, Normandy and St. Peters police departments all responded.

    Missouri Republican Gov. Eric Greitens made his first public appearance in nearly two weeks since acknowledging an extramarital affair, announcing a budget plan that would slice at least $68 million from public colleges and universities, but the budget wasn't the only thing discussed.
