NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

An Endangered Silver Advisory Alert for a missing North County woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease has been canceled.

Betty Forniss, 86, walked out of her home in the 2200 block of Atwater Drive in Greendale around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, police said. Authorities said she was showing signs of confusion throughout the day and hasn’t left her home alone in many years.

She suffers from Alzheimers, hypertension and diabetes and police believe she may not have had her medication with her when she left.

She was later found safe.
