Wood River police seek help identifying suspect accused of using counterfeit bills

WOOD RIVER, Ill. (KMOV.com) – The Wood River Police Department is asking for help locating a woman accused of passing counterfeit bills at local businesses.

The suspect allegedly used the counterfeit $20 bills at Walgreen's, located in the 110 block of Vaughn Road, in addition to other area businesses. 

Police in East Alton and Hartford are also investigating similar incidents involving the counterfeit bills. 

Anyone who recognizes the suspect should call 618-251-3113.
