Free screening clinic offered to children in Maryville

MARYVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A free screening clinic will be open to children in the Metro East.

The purpose of the clinic is to see if your child has a condition they can treat at Shriners Hospitals for Children – St. Louis.

An orthopedic surgeon will be screening children under the age of 18 who have bone, muscle, or join problems.

Ray Rohr, the Community Outreach Coordinator for Shriners Hospitals for Children – St. Louis said, "We screen for orthopedic issues, things like club foot, scoliosis, simple sports injuries.”

The free screening is being held on March 5 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.

Walk-ins are welcome.
