Police: Drug task force recovers over $135,000 in meth

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The Franklin County Drug Task Force seized roughly $135,000 worth of methamphetamine, or 3.3 pounds., from a residence in Franklin County on Monday.

The suspect arrested is Jeremiah A. Calvio and has prior convictions in Oregon, California and Arizona on meth and weapons charges. The task force received a tip that the suspect's car broke down and stranded in Lonedell, an unincorporated community in Franklin County. 

Within the last two weeks, the drug task force has taken 10 pounds of meth off the street worth upwards of $450,000.

Calvio was charged with drug trafficking and has a $100,000 cash-only bond.
