Firefighters battle blaze at Troy, Missouri high school

(KMOV.com) -- Firefighters from nine different departments responded to a fire at a Troy, Missouri high school after a building on the campus was engulfed by flames.

The concession building at Troy Buchanan High School, along with the visiting locker room and weight room, was declared a 3-alarm fire. The building became fully engulfed around 6:30 p.m., but no injuries have been reported. The school building itself was not damaged.

A driver noticed the smoke coming from the building and called 911. When crews arrived, the building was already full engulfed. Nine different agencies were called in to help fight the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.

    Missouri Republican Gov. Eric Greitens made his first public appearance in nearly two weeks since acknowledging an extramarital affair, announcing a budget plan that would slice at least $68 million from public colleges and universities, but the budget wasn't the only thing discussed.
