SOUTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -

A suspect has been charged in connection with the death of a man who was found inside a Holly Hills home.

Paul L. Deroy, Jr. was taken into custody after it was discovered he drove Ricardo Comparini’s vehicle after he was killed, according to officials.  On March 22, he was charged with first-degree murder, robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.

Earlier in March, he was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle when he was allegedly discovered driving Comparini's car.

Comparini, 51, died of head trauma inside a home in the Holly Hills neighborhood on February 22. Comparini’s black four-door 2009 Lincoln MKS with Missouri license plate number SM5-L3Z was found near Butler Hill and Lemay Ferry Road in earlier in 2016.
