Senior citizens robbed by teens outside Webster Groves McDonald's, police say

WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Two men in their 80s were robbed as they left a McDonalds in Webster Groves Monday night, police said.

According to the police report, two men were leaving the restaurant and went to their car, when they were approached by two men. One of the suspects had a knife and asked for money. When one of the victims took his wallet out, one of the suspects grabbed the wallet and each suspect ran off.

The two victims were so shaken that they did not want to comment for this story.

Webster Groves Police later apprehended two individuals a short distance away who were identified by the victim. The victim's wallet wasn't found, but all of its content was recovered and returned to the victim.

Matthew Miller, 18, of Hazelwood, Mo. and Durpi Maxwell, 19 of Overland, Mo. were both arrested and charged with first degree robbery. Each of their bonds is set at $50,000.
