Police release surveillance video of south St. Louis robbery

The St. Louis Police Department released footage from a robbery that took place Feb. 4 in south St. Louis. 

The surveillance cameras show a male suspect approach the counter of a Family Dollar in the 5300 block of Virginia Avenue. The suspect approached a customer in a wheelchair and held a knife to their throat and demanded cash from the cashier. 

The suspect is listed at 6'1" and 145 pounds. He has a goatee and mustache and was seen wearing a red Adidas hooded sweatshirt.
