MetroLink modifying Red, Blue Line routes Saturday

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – MetroLink will modify its Red and Blue Line services Saturday morning.

From 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., the Red Line will operate will on a single track between the Washington Park and Fairview Heights stations to accommodate for roadwork on the Highway 157 bridge.

During the same time frame, the Blue Line will only operate between Shrewsbury-Lansdowne Interstate 44 and Emerson Park stations.  

All westbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train between the single line track stations to travel to the Emerson Park station where they will move to a westbound Blue Line train. Eastbound traveling Blue Line passengers will need to move to a Red Line train at the Emerson Park station to continue on their route.

Passengers using the Red Line and Blue Line may experience delays of up to 10 minutes.
