At-large fugitive believed to be in St. Clair County captured in Kentucky

ST. CLAIR COUNTY (KMOV.com) -- A felony fugitive who police believed was in the St. Clair County area was recently captured in Kentucky. 

Scotty Eugene Priest was wanted by the Decatur County Sheriff's Office, in Decatur County, Tennessee, for several charges, including an attempt to commit an act of terrorism. According to a Facebook post put out by the Decatur County Sheriff's Office, Priest was also wanted by the Parsons Police Department in Tennessee. 

According to the Sheriff's Office, Priest allegedly made online threats to kill law enforcement and named officers specifically. 

Caseyville Police shared the Decatur County Sheriff's post, saying that Priest was believed to be in the St. Clair County area. The Decatur County Sheriff's Office, Priest was seen in St. Clair County.

Priest was taken into custody Sunday in Russellville, Kentucky, police said.
