Malfunctioning sirens cause worry in St. Charles County

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Malfunctioning sirens caused worry in St. Charles County Tuesday morning. 

72 sirens within the county were believed to have gone off erroneously, starting around 8:30 in the morning. According to the St. Charles County Police Department, the cause was determined to be radio signal interference. 

Reportedly, a communications test on a different frequency caused the malfunction.
