Police: Woman arrested for attempting to sell prescription narcotics to undercover detectives

LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Detectives with the Multi-County Drug Task Force arrested a woman for allegedly attempting to sell prescription narcotics to undercover officers.

The detectives received a complaint that Lisa Sallee, 46, of Old Monroe, was selling her prescription narcotics to members of the community on Thursday

Undercover detectives setup a control buy from Sallee in the Old Monroe area. According to police reports, Sallee received information she was about to sell the drugs to an undercover cops. After learning this new information, detectives moved quickly to Sallee's residence on the 2000 block of Highway C and apprehended her in the driveway.

Police say they recovered prescription narcotics from her purse, and said that later, Sallee admitted she was selling her prescription narcotics to supplement her income.

Sallee is charged with possession with the intent to sell a controlled substance and is currently being housed in the Lincoln County Jail under a $100,000 cash-only bond.
