COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Collinsville police say the same man is suspected to have robbed two different Little Caesars restaurants at gunpoint within days of each other.

According to police, the first robbery occurred at the Collinsville Crossing’s Little Caesars in Collinsville on Route 159 in late January. The second robbery happened at the Little Caesars in Glen Carbon on February 1.

The manager at the Little Caesars in Collinsville says both restaurants that were hit have the same owner. Police are looking into the possibility that a past employee could be behind both robberies.

Police said the suspect drove off in a light colored SUV or minivan after he robbed the restaurant in Collinsville, but he ran away from the Glen Carbon restaurant.

Police are warning everyone the suspect is armed and dangerous, walking the streets and could attack again.

If you have any information on the suspect’s whereabouts, please call police.
