ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – One man was killed and another injured in separate overnight shootings in St. Louis.

Just before midnight a man was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest in the 7900 block of Church in north St. Louis. Police identified him as 37-year-old Latrielle Dunn of the 400 block of Blase Ave. Officers said when they arrived, Dunn was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Less than two hours later, around 1:30 Monday morning, police were called to the 5000 block of Terry in west St. Louis after a man was shot in the head. Authorities said the man sustained the gunshot wound in the area of Semple and Wells.

After being shot, the man was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

The shootings were the latest incidents following a violent and deadly weekend in St. Louis. Between Saturday morning and Sunday night, three people were killed and two others injured in four separate shootings.

The identity of the deceased man has not been released.
