Surveillance video released of North City armed robbery suspect

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Authorities have released surveillance video that shows a suspect who is wanted in connection with an armed robbery in north St. Louis. 

Thursday afternoon, the suspect entered First Cash Pawn in the 5900 block of Natural Bridge Road, approached the counter and demanded cash from the register while displaying a weapon. After the employee complied, the suspect exited the shop and headed east on Natural Bridge Road on a silver or white"BMX" style bicycle, police said. 

At this time, it is unknown how much money the suspect stole from the pawn shop. 

Police describe the suspect as a man between 25-35 years-old and having a build of 5'7" - 5'10" and 150-170 pounds. He also reportedly has a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt, black pants, black sunglasses, black gloves, and possibly having gold on the top row of his teeth. 

The investigation into the armed robbery is ongoing.
