ST. PETERS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police in St. Peters are searching for victims that had items stolen from their vehicles between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Officers arrested two suspects using what they called the most useful crime fighting tools they have, observant residents who call them quickly. Authorities received reports of three juveniles walking around the area of Carriage Hill and Hidden Lakes.

When police located the group, they found several stolen items in their possession. The stolen items were taken from various vehicles throughout the St. Peters-area, police said.

Officials have been able to identify the owners of some of the items, but are currently looking for other victims to claim their items.

The juveniles are believed to have taken the items from vehicles in several neighborhoods next to Fort Zumwalt East High School, including Manors of Orchard Glen.

Anyone who had items taken during the overnight hours should contact police at (636) 278-2222.
