LOS ANGELES, Ca. (CNN) - Actor David Duchovny was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday.
Duchovny is best known for his role as Agent Fox Mulder on "The X-Files." His other long-running series, "Californication," ended its seven-year run last summer.
"The X-Files" returned to TV Sunday night after a 13-year hiatus, with Duchovny reprising his role along with co-star Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully.
The actor was born and raised in New York City. He attended Princeton University and received his Master's degree in English literature from Yale before becoming an actor.
