Homicide detectives were called to two separate shootings in north St. Louis Monday night.

The first shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. when four people drove to meet two unknown suspects in the 5000 block of West Florissant.

One of the suspects shot 21-year-old Antoine Bland as he exited a vehicle.

After shooting Bland, one of the suspects entered the vehicle and began to drive away. A 22-year-old man inside the vehicle grabbed his firearm and exchanged gunshots with the suspect.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found Bland with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The 22-year-old man who exchanged gunshots with the suspect was listed in stable condition after he sustained gunshot wounds to the head and buttocks.

Suspected heroin was located inside of Bland’s vehicle, police said.

About an hour later, D’Andre Robinson, 39, was found with a fatal gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

An investigation into Robinson’s fatal shooting revealed that an unknown vehicle pulled alongside him and the occupant fired shots at him.

No suspect information has been released in either case.

No other details have been made available.
