ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

AT&T is contributing to flood victims in more ways than one.

The telecommunications corporation announced they would donate $25,000 to the Red Cross of eastern Missouri to help with flood recovery. In addition to their monetary donation, AT&T announced they would authorize the Disaster Relief Plan. Under this plan, AT&T customers, both residents and businesses,  in Missouri impacted by the severe weather would have some of their charges waived on orders placed through Jan. 31.

In a press release, AT&T Missouri President John Sondag said AT&T is committed to working with local authorities, the Red Cross, and community partners to deal with the aftereffects of the storms.

AT&T customers who wants to donate to the Red Cross efforts can text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10. The donation will be added to the customer's monthly bill.
