ST. LOUIS, Mo. (AP/KMOV.com) - Two tickets sold in Illinois are $1 million winners and 15 sold in Missouri are $50,000 winners in the unprecedented $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot.

Numbers were drawn Wednesday night and Powerball officials said three winning tickets were purchased in California, Florida and Tennessee.

Powerball officials said there were 893,220 winners in Illinois ranging from $4 prizes to a pair of $1 million winners who matched five numbers but didn't have the Powerball.

In Missouri, 429,587 ticket holders won a combined $2.8 million, including 15 tickets that won $50,000 by matching four numbers and the Powerball.

The winning numbers are 4-8-19-27-34 and Powerball 10.

The three winners of the world-record jackpot overcame odds of 1 in 292.2 million. They can take the winnings in annual payments spread over decades or a smaller amount in a lump sum.
