O’FALLON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – An O’Fallon, Missouri man was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to various charges, including assaulting a police officer, following a high-speed chase in October.

Calyb V. Musgrave pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, speeding and leaving the scene of an accident, according to court reports.

According to authorities, the 23-year-old fled from Missouri Highway Patrol troopers who were trying to pull him over for traffic violations in Callaway County. During the police chase, Musgrave’s truck struck two police vehicles in Montgomery County, officials said.

Police said the chase ended when authorities used spike strips, forcing his car to roll over in Wentzville.
