Lanes of Highway 67 from the Clark Bridge to the Missouri River in West Alton remain closed because of flooding.
The lanes first closed on Dec 28, when record rains pounded the St. Louis area. The road remains closed because there are still areas with more than two feet of standing water.
Troopers with the Missouri Highway Patrol said they received reports Thursday of drivers going the wrong-way on the open lanes. MoDOT said northbound lanes on 67 can’t be narrowed for southbound traffic because of flooding on 67 south of Route 94
