FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Four men are facing multiple charges after they allegedly beat a man in the food court of a Metro East mall.

According to the Fairview Heights Police Department, On Jan. 2 the suspects were fighting at the St. Clair Square Mall when they grabbed a man who was sitting with a woman nearby. After grabbing the man, the suspects allegedly kicked and punched him while he was on the ground.

Witnesses at the scene told police the victim did not have any contact with the suspects prior to the incident.

The victim was treated for minor injuries, but was not transported to the hospital.
