ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man was stabbed after he tied his dog to a pole while he entered a South City business Sunday afternoon.
The 39-year-old man told police the suspect yelled at him shortly after he tied his dog to a pole so he could enter a business in the 3400 block of South Jefferson just before 3 p.m.
When the man left the business, police said, the suspect stabbed him in the torso.
After stabbing the man, the suspect ran through the parking lot to flee the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as being between 23 and 27 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot with a mustache and goatee. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans at the time of the attack.
The investigation is ongoing.
