Dec. 11 fatal shooting now called a justifiable homicide

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - A fatal shooting that happened early December 2015 at a North St. Louis community center is being called a justifiable homicide. 

The shooting occurred during a funeral gathering at the New Northside Conference Center on Goodfellow on Dec. 11.

Police say two men got into an argument outside that led to a shootout. 

37-year-old Robert Grandberry was killed and another man was injured. Police arrested Dontell Spears who they say was at the scene. 

Spears is being held on a $40,000 bond.
