Tony Hampton, 25, is accused of leading police on a chase with a stolen vehicle.
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A St. Ann man is in police custody after he allegedly led police on a chase following an armed robbery.
On November 4, according to police, Tony L. Hampton, 25, was being pursued while driving a stolen vehicle.
When Hampton stopped the vehicle, he forced his way into a home in the 450 block of Cameron Road in an attempt to flee authorities, police said. He was taken into custody while he was attempting to hide in the residence.
Hampton is charged with first-degree burglary and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $30,000.
