TOWN AND COUNTRY (KMOV.com) - A property that has been vacant for more than a decade is finally getting a new life in Town and Country.

Renderings have been released for a planned development near Mason Woods Village.

The city bought the property in the summer of 2015. After months of community input, the plans have been revealed for a park and restaurant concept.

Gary Hoelzer, Town and Country City Manager said, "It could be a nice amenity for the community. We have the Clayton Road Trail, a place not only to go but to stay and meet neighbors."

The Board of Aldermen are working on a price point. The board will review an engineering contract in January 2016 to find out the cost and proceed from there to develop.
