Jennings School District meets full accreditation standards for second year

Posted: Updated:

JENNINGS, Mo. (KMOV.com) –  Tuesday, the Jennings School District announced they have met full accreditation standards for two consecutive years.

In 2010, Jennings was one of more than two dozen school districts in Missouri that could have lost their accreditation. During a performance review that year, which was based on test scores and graduation rates, Jennings School District met only five of the 14 academic standards.

The district announced they have consistently shown grown since 2012, when Superintendent Dr. Tiffany Anderson was appointed.

“Dr. Anderson has shared that Jennings represents what’s possible for all high poverty communities and she credits their team of teachers, students and strong leaders with making this achievement possible,” the press release read.
