In-market streaming of MLB games arriving in 2016 season

Posted: Updated:

ST. LOUIS -- Following the owners meetings in Dallas, Major League Baseball announced an agreement with Fox Sports to allow for in-market streaming of games on computers and mobile devices.

As part of the deal, 15 regional sports networks will allow streaming, including Fox Sports Midwest. Cardinals games will be available online, but users must stream the games through Fox Sports (Fox Sports Go or other like services). This means those without cable are still out of luck, as streaming must be authenticated via a TV carrier package.

Those with MLB.TV and At Bat will not be able to stream the games.

The full list of teams with in-market streaming is below:
St. Louis Cardinals
Atlanta Braves
Cincinnati Reds
Cleveland Indians
Texas Rangers
Detroit Tigers
Kansas City Royals
Los Angeles Angels
Miami Marlins
Milwaukee Brewers
Minnesota Twins
New York Yankees
Arizona Diamondbacks
San Diego Padres
Tampa Bay Rays
